Step 1: Choose a new home.
Congratulations! This is the start of your journey with Banyan Tree Homes. We’d be looking into one of the best options for a site. We’ll shortlist the ones that work best for your ideal home using these site settings.
First, you would meet with one of our knowledgeable sales consultants who would lead you through the process, evaluate the consultation, and obtain preliminary site quotation and siting information. You would next be needed to provide your land selling contract. A clear copy of the division plan, evidence of land title, and construction funding details should also be included.
The client liaison executive (CLE) would then contact you for an introduction. You’ll also meet with the sales consultant for a final evaluation and approval of the paperwork for the facade selections. Along with any other criteria, you would be expected to work on optional floorplan improvements.
Step 2: Pick your colors
One of the most exciting parts is this. This stage allows you to customize your home’s interior and exterior design. You may work with one of our experienced design advisors to select your new home’s final materials, colors, lighting, finishes, and electricals. You’ll meet with the client liaison executive for color selection and a tender meeting.
Step 3: Tender
This is when you start preparing your tender based on the sales quote, survey, soil analysis, and basic engineering. This stage indicates that no changes will be accepted after this point.
Step 4: Make a contract.
After this point, everything starts to come to life. We prepare the drawings and contracts for you. We order the six-star energy evaluation and provide you with an HIA plain English contract to examine and sign at a client liaison executive appointment letter. You’ll also be requested to participate in a customer satisfaction survey. Also, after this point, no more changes will be accepted.
Step 5: Begin site preparation.
After the contract has been drafted and signed, there are still several processes to complete before the new home can be built, such as obtaining any necessary permissions, finance approvals, and final designs. Our experts will walk you through the remaining steps.
Step 6: Site start
This marks the start of the official construction process. You will receive a mail confirming construction.
Step 7: Base
The stacking of the concrete slab is the first big milestone in constructing the new home. The site supervisor, who would now be on-site for the duration of your build, would call you to introduce you to the site.
This stage would be open to your inspection. Prior to making the progress payment, it would be done through an appointment with the construction supervisor present. Within seven days of the invoice date, money is received.
Step 8: Create a frame
This is the point at which your new home begins to take shape. The framing carpenters construct the wall frames and roof trusses. Upon completion, a skilled building surveyor would begin inspecting the frame. You’d also be welcome to inspect the stage with your construction supervisor present via appointment. This would happen before the payment process is progressed.
Step 9: Lockup
This is where operations like brickwork, roof tiles, exterior tiles, and windows commence. Before making the payment, you are also welcome to inspect this stage with your construction supervisor present.
Step 10: Fixing
The ceilings and internal walls are plastered. You’ll also see the skirting boards, internal doors, architraves, and cabinets in the kitchen, ensuite, bathroom, and powder room. You’d be invited to come in for a look.
Step 11: Completion
This is the last stage of your new home’s construction. The painting and tiling would be completed by now, and electrical and plumbing work, stone benchtops, and door hardware would be completed.
By this time, all of the external renderings would have been completed. The contract supervisor will schedule a new home presentation near the end of the procedure, with a settlement date agreed upon at the appointment. A dedicated quality assurance team would conduct a thorough quality check before issuing a certificate of occupancy.
Step 12: Settlement
Congratulations on your new home’s completion! It is now completely ready for you to move in.
You will meet your contract supervisor on the day of settlement, who will conduct an on-site handover. After the settlement, all appliances would be placed at a mutually agreed upon time. You will be required to visit with a client liaison executive at Banyan Tree Homes’ central office to take possession of your new house and receive the keys.
Step 13: Create an account with Banyan Tree Homes Care.
Banyan Tree Homes allows you to submit items related to the new home’s warranty via your phone or other devices. This is an entirely interactive tool for managing the required concentration.
Step 14: Agreed-upon tasks
In this step, we organize any touch-up or repair work that has to be done.
Step 15: Task completion
All agreed-upon works are accomplished, and you can track them through your Banyan Tree Homes care account.
